For any question like this, its worth distinguishing what side you are talking about.
1. Support on the client side. VMware View running on _____ OS.
2. Support on the agent side. VMware View agent running on ____ OS to be presented by the connection broker for clients.
The View client is available for Windows, OSX, android, iOS, and Ubuntu or Ubuntu clone distros (e.g. Linux Mint). The View agent as of right now is only for a Windows system. Is there a need for an agent on a Linux machine? Absolutely, I'm one of them. But VMware hasn't commented much on their intentions to build an agent for linux distros.
