There really isn't a need to globally disable the VMware DHCP Service as the OP is using VMnet2 and all that is necessary is to uncheck the "Use local DHCP service to distribute IP addresses to VMs" check box for VMnet2 in the Virtual Network Editor.  Globally disabling VMware DHCP Service breaks the defaults for VMnet1 and VMnet8 and is generally frowned upon unless one has a good reason to do so.  Not saying it can't be done however it's not necessary in this use case and shouldn't be done unless the User has no intention of using the VMware Networking Defaults for VM's other then the current presented configuration scenario.   Additionally since the OP is using a DHCP Server in the Guest it is also generally advised to uncheck the "Connect the host virtual adapter to this network" check box as well for the target VMnet, in this case VMnet2.
