Re: adding a lun to multiple storage groups

That's typically how it's done for any host that is using a boot from SAN (BFS) design, so yes.

 

As an example: Typically in BFS I present the boot LUN as host ID 0 and the other LUNs (for vSphere datastores) as LUN 1 or higher. As such the other LUNs would belong to multiple storage groups.
